SiteCrafting Holiday Hijinks

For this year's SiteCrafting holiday party (in addition to a Christmas sweater competition) we at SiteCrafting HQ invited the Seattle office to join us in Tacoma for some holiday hijinks. Once everyone had gathered at the office they split up into teams and we sent them on a Tacoma scavenger hunt. Each team had to combine their knowledge of Tacoma with their knowledge of recent SiteCrafting projects. Using the clues we provided, they had to visit six different locations (five of which were SiteCrafting clients). Once they arrived at each location they had to perform a task to receive their next clue. Most of the time it involved taking a picture and posting it on Twitter with the hashtag #SCholiday. Here are some of the highlights:

Thanks to the friends and clients that helped out with our scavenger hunt, including:

Bruce Titus Automotive
Metro Parks Tacoma
Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau
JayRay Ads and PR
YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties
Infinite Soups (not technically a client but they were good sports about helping us out)

Some of our clients thought up extra "tasks" for each team to perform in order to receive their next clue. The crew at JayRay had each participant pose in their Red Chair for a photo shoot. You can see the entire photo set on their Facebook page.

Perhaps the most enthusiastic of our helpers was the crew at the Market Street branch of the YMCA. They made each team sing a Christmas song and do a little dance before they could receive their next clue. One of those performances was recorded.

Just for you:
