Website Emergency? Never Fear!
It's happened to most of us at some point-- you accidentally delete your entire file library, your URL stops linking to your site, or your provider goes out of business... don't worry, we're here to help.There are several ways to reach us in an emergency
If you are a SiteCrafting customer:
- Contact your SiteCrafting Production Manager via phone or email. Please note email and cell phone information for your team is available via Basecamp.
- Leave an emergency voicemail
- When you leave an emergency voicemail, every SiteCrafting Production Manager is immediately notified via email. All available Project Managers promptly hop online to check in with each other and work on the problem.

Tips for website owners
1. Be In Control- Make sure you have control of your domain. Using a registrar such as Go Daddy or Network Solutions doesn't change the fact that you are the owner of your domain and should be able to transfer or make changes whenever you want. SiteCrafting offers domain registration services and always registers your site in your name. We are glad to facilitate a transfer of your domain.2. Backup Your Site- Make sure your website company makes regular backups of your site. If anything goes wrong, they should be able to roll back to the most recently saved version. The backup might not have the most recent changes to your site, but it sure beats starting from scratch. Read more about restoring lost content here.
3. Start a Relationship- Choose a service provider that is readily accessible, has a proven track record and answers your questions promptly.
