File Library

GearBox’s File Library provides an easy and efficient way to upload, organize and quickly locate files in the content management system.

File uploading is designed to be as flexible as your desktop in how you can add files or folders. The “Add a File” and "Add a Folder” buttons make it easy to start uploading content. Simply click  on the button, and fill out the info in the File Basics tab. You also have the option of adding additional information in the advanced tab. If you are uploading multiple files, it will remember the last folder you were in.

GearBox’s file library allows you to store office documents, PDFs, audio and video files. With minimal restrictions on storage space, file type and size, all the files you want to use on your website can be managed in this system.

The File Library has a quick search option to look for a file or files without having to open up and sift through every folder yourself. Simply type in all or part of the name of the file you're looking for, click "Search", then matching results are shown to the right of your full file tree.

As with other features of GearBox, the File Library can support additional customization to help you upload, organize and utilize your content on the web.
