Gear Grants

SiteCrafting volunteers development and design time in the form of "Gear Grants" once a quarter, totaling four awards per calendar year. Recipients receive:

  • website design, which includes 3 rounds of design comp review, and any necessary spec documentation and wireframes for the site
  • development of a content management system which includes two templates (home and interior), user, file and page management capabilities, as well as any two of the following features:
    • Events Calendar
    • News Section
    • E-Newsletter
    • Photo Gallery
    • FAQ Section
  • search capabilities and site stats
  • one-on-one training and all training documentation needed to begin using and maintaining the site, ongoing

Interested applicants must be a non-profit organization with 501(c) status in order to apply.

Gear Grant applications are due by Tuesday, June 1st, 2010.
Recipients will be notified shortly thereafter.
Projects will be completed and delivered by Jan 1, 2011.
