MultiCare
MultiCare is a not-for-profit health organization made up of four hospitals including Allenmore Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital, as well as numerous primary and urgent care clinics, multi-speciality centers, and many other services. Based in Tacoma, Washington since in 1882, MultiCare Health System is one of the region's most comprehensive health care systems and the largest provider of key medical services in Pierce, South King, Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Needs
MultiCare had invested several years ago in one of the more prominent CMS systems of the day. They were finding the site was sluggish, difficult to maintain, and likely over-engineered for the day to day work they needed to keep their website maintained. Beyond the CMS solution, MultiCare needed help with the organization of the content for their site. They were integrating with a variety of tools and services for content, and the site had become a hodge-podge of information and third party tools and services.
Solution
SiteCrafting worked with MultiCare staff and their third party branding company to develop the interface and information architecture. SiteCrafting team members focused on a solution that invited users to take action. Navigation and functions were designed to help users get to the information they need quickly and easily. An integrated search powered by Google search applianced alllowed SiteCrafting to present data categorized by either web page, document, location, service, or provider. Find as you type technology allowed users to access this information quickly and easily.
The CMS also provides for custom workflow, various levels of permission, integration with MultiCare mini-sites, and secure areas for groups to share documents. The solution was not more than MultiCare needed, it was just what they needed.

MVP Physical Therapy
MVP Physical Therapy is a private, locally-owned and operated practice, providing quality rehabilitation services at 13 clinics in the Puget Sound area since 1996. With a strong focus on orthopedics, work and sports related injuries, MVP works closely with orthopedic and family practice physicians to establish a comprehensive plan of care.
Needs
MVP needed a new website design and a much easier way for staff to keep the site up to date. Additionally, they needed a secure area for documents and a scheduling module for classes and events they hold at their clinics.
Solution
SiteCrafting designed a professional interface that captured the level of care users have come to expect from MVP. The site is managed through SiteCrafting’s Content Management System and features a secure document repository/intranet for staff as well a a scheduling/payment module that allows users/patients to pay online for classes and events. Eventually the site will allow for invoicing and patients to access payment history.

Pediatrics Northwest
One of the Puget Sound leaders in pediatric care, Pediatrics Northwest, P.S. was founded in 1980 and now consists of 22 physicians and provides services at 4 different locations in the Tacoma area. In 2007, Primera Blue Cross named Pediatrics Northwest, P.S. one of the top pediatric clinics in Washington State.
Needs
Pediatrics Northwest needed an updated website design as well as a web based Content Management System for managing not only page content and pictures, but Providers.
Solution
SiteCrafting developed a Content Management System as well as an integrated Provider management module. This system allows Pediatrics Northwest to manage all content as well as add/update provider information which is immediately reflected in their provider search area.
