SiteCrafting Launches New MultiCare Website

On May 5th, SiteCrafting launched a new website for MultiCare. The new MultiCare.org is the culmination of a thoughtful process dedicated to improving communication and service to patients, providers, colleagues and the community.

MultiCare Webmaster Angela Gow commented, "The SiteCrafting team used their talent and knowledge to help us create a new, more usable site always keeping our audience in mind. They took a complex website and made it friendly and useful for the public. We have received excellent feedback about the appearance of the new website."

The new site incorporates information from Tacoma General, Allenmore, Mary Bridge, and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Features of the new site include a provider search, allowing users to search for doctors by name or specialty, as well as an events module which lists classes and events hosted by MultiCare.

In regards to the priority on patient care, partnerships and community involvement, SiteCrafting Web Production Manager Kevin Freitas stated, "Keeping content lean helps visitors find what they need fast. A simple, clean, action-oriented interface and information architecture along with a powerful search should make finding what visitors need simpler than ever. Anyone who may need MultiCare's facilities and services can now be more informed and better trust their health care provider."

Previously, SiteCrafting and MultiCare have collaborated on MultiCare Jobs, Healthy@Work, the Million Minute Mission, and MultiCare Quality, as well as an internal application for full-time employees. For more information, please visit the new site.
