GearBox Spotlight: Search Tools
Between the amount of content and the volume, it can be hard for a user to find exactly what they are looking for on your site. Using the features of GearBox, you can create, edit and organize content and using the custom search tools your users are able to easily navigate their way to the pieces of that content they want to see.
All module options in GearBox provide quick search functionality for content that is module specific. For example, if you were in the calendar module, you could search by dates, keywords or both to locate event content information here. On the public side, the categorized search functionality build upon standard search results and offers improvements for your users. Visitors can review a quick list showing the top three results from each category. Quick match lists are also available in find as you type functionality.
