About the Project

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is part of the Tacoma Metro Parks system. SiteCrafting has been working with Metro Parks since 2004 and has launched sites for Metro Parks Tacoma, Northwest Trek, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Point Defiance Flower and Garden Show, as well as the Greater Metro Parks Foundation. The Northwest Trek site needed to be updated with a more modern design, as well as the latest content management tools.

The Result

Northwest Trek is one of the first sites to benefit from GearBox, SiteCrafting’s newest content management system. Specifically developed for expansion and modification, GearBox allows administrators to add, edit and delete web content with more ease and flexibility. Additional features include full search functionality, the ability to create and manage multiple photo galleries, a mobile version of the site, as well as an online discussion board.
