In all standard and custom module options of GearBox, we provide quick search functionality based on the content relevant to each module. For example, if you were in the calendar module, you could search by dates, keywords or both to locate event content information here. In the users module, this feature would allow you to search by a name or an email address to quickly find who you're looking for. These custom search tools help make GearBox a scalable system for growing content management needs.

On the public side of your GearBox website, the categorized search functionality is a significant improvement on standard search results. Visitors can review a Quick list showing the top 3 results from each category. It’s easy to expand each category list to see more. There’s also the option of quick match lists available in find as you type functionality.
