Tackling puzzling web projects every day

Scott loves the problem solving aspect of development. To him, every project is a giant puzzle with more than one solution, and it’s his job to find which one works best given the project constraints. Naturally curious, Scott is always willing to learn or try something new to help move projects forward. His ability to think of the bigger picture and think of how a web project will grow in the future make him an invaluable asset to our team. His knowledge and expertise in languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Twig, and CSS greatly contribute to the success of our client projects.

Before joining our team in 2013, Scott worked as a computer technician and technology coordinator for the University of Puget Sound. At UPS, Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Sociology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

When explaining what he does for a living to his friends and family, he often uses the cat GIF featured below. He also enjoys gardening, brewing his own beer, and tinkering with Raspberry Pi & NodeJS projects. Case in point, one year he created a singing Christmas sweater with a Makey Makey (visit our Instagram account to see it in action). He also created a self-timed photo booth for his wedding using a Raspberry Pi.
